my new novel - perfect wives hits Irish stores april 1st
Welcome to my website and thank you for your visit!
I am so delighted you have taken the time to visit my site.
If you are one of the wonderful people who have purchased one of my books I would like to give you a big virtual hug. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I discovered writing a few years ago, as I was forced to sit in a hospital bed. As you may know I am a cancer vixen. To date, I have beaten cancer a grand total of eight times. I am currently in remission - a state that fills me with more joy than you can shake a stick at.
I certainly wouldn't recommend cancer to a friend, but I have turned the worst part of my life into what is undoubtedly the best.
You see boredom from being made sit in a bed led to a wonderful thing. I asked my hubby to bring me a lap top. I began to log what was happening - surgery, sickness and other yucky stuff. But the 'logging' proved to be far too sensible and home worky. So I turned it all into story. My first novel Designer Genes was born. Since then I've written three more fiction novels called Miss Conceived, The Pink Ladies Club, Keeping Mum and Driving Home for Christmas. On February 14th the paper back version of Keeping Mum hit's Irish shelves. It's also available from amazon.co.uk! My next new novel entitled Perfect Wives is due for release on 1st April 2013 and I can't wait!
As I've had cancer a silly amount of times (8) and I felt it was my civic duty to write about that. So using ordinary words (all my own) I told my story in Talk to the Headscarf. I know it's about cancer but I promise you it's not a misery memoir. It's laugh out loud funny - well I did while writing it so I hope you will too. It's pretty much all the stuff you've always wanted to know about cancer - but didn't want to ask. I tell it like it is. The best part is that I've survived. I know I'm so lucky to be a winner, but I'm so eager to show others affected by cancer that positive things can and do happen. Cancer doesn't always win people! I am living proof of that.
I adore writing and hope you all enjoy reading my books.
