I totally understand if you think that's a load of tripe and perhaps it's just my way of comforting myself after a person I love dies. That's okay, I'm not hurting anyone and I have two teenagers so I already know I'm mad and that most of what I say and do is wrong!!
Leureen and I "chat" via my website www.emmahannigan.com and we've become 'butterfly buddies' It's always lovely to hear from her and to know how her life is. She lives in Australia. So this gift was hand made and posted right around the world! Thank you so much Leureen, I love it!
People are so kind. I get such amazing support and strength from the way that strangers reach out to me.
I post about cancer here because I want other cancer patients to see that it's possible to get through. I try to be real and honest. But most of all I want people to know that they are not alone.
Leureen, thank you for showing me, in such a creative and gorgeous way, that I am not alone either. I appreciate your kindness more than you realise.
It's a bank holiday here in Ireland this weekend. Rain is forecast, hurray, so we'll be cooking on the barbeque with an umbrella. My main plan is to stay out of hospital and not get an infection! Who knows maybe I'll manage it. I hope you all have wonderful things on the horizon. Have a great weekend no matter where you are in the world!!
Love and light
